Disbursement of public investment capital reached nearly 1,200 billion VND

Lao Cai disbursed nearly 1,200 billion VND in public investment capital.

Accordingly, the total mobilized social investment capital reached VND 19,824 billion. For the 2025 public investment plan, the total capital allocated in the province is VND 5,903 billion; the estimated disbursement value by mid-March reached nearly VND 1,200 billion, equal to 21% of the plan and nearly VND 500 billion higher than the same period last year. Investment capital is focused on urban and rural infrastructure programs and projects; the province also prioritizes resources for mountainous, remote and disadvantaged areas, especially traffic infrastructure, schools, hospitals and other works. Basically, the disbursement in the first quarter was directed with attention, especially in removing difficulties related to site clearance, ensuring the progress of project implementation; at the same time, creating a basis to accelerate the disbursement progress of public investment capital in the second quarter and the following quarters of 2025./.
