Taylor Swift’s kindness and philanthropy go back years. In 2019, the Shake It Off singer donated $113,000 to the LGBTQ community in Tennessee. In 2020, she donated $13,000 to two mothers facing eviction amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, she donated $100,000 to the family of a mother who died at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade. Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, 35, followed suit with his own donation to two injured children.
Taylor Swift's $5 million donation in October 2024 will be used to provide clean water and essential goods to those affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene, helping communities rebuild and recover from the storms, said the CEO of Feeding America.
