* On the morning of August 2, the Steering Committee for the project "Summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW dated April 10, 2013 of the Politburo on international integration" held its first meeting.
The meeting took place online. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, delegates listened to reports on the implementation of Resolution No. 22 of the Politburo from 5 Ministries: Foreign Affairs, Public Security, National Defense, Industry and Trade, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Thereby, a number of limitations were pointed out such as: The interest of people and businesses in international integration is still limited; the process of integrating international cooperation into local development plans is still confusing; FDI capital has not been effectively utilized.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh drew 6 lessons. That is, we must properly resolve the relationship between independence and international integration; maximize internal strength, take advantage of external strength in all fields; firmly grasp the international context and domestic needs, resolve conflicting and challenging issues; dare to think, dare to do, dare to break through; International integration in all fields must be closely linked, be a support for each other, have a focus and key points; Integration must be substantive, in the spirit of "harmonious benefits, shared risks".
* The Secretariat decided to appoint two comrades to join the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An province for the 2020-2025 term.
In Decision No. 910-QDNS/TW dated June 22, 2023, the Secretariat decided to appoint comrade Le Van Luong - Member of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to join the Nghe An Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
In Decision No. 928-QDNS/TW dated July 11, 2023, the Secretariat decided to appoint comrade Ha Xuan Quang - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dien Chau district, Nghe An province to participate in the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
* On August 3 and 4, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a meeting and dialogue program with leaders of Party committees and authorities of communes, wards and towns across the province. Before this event, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the program's steering committee wrote an article: "Creating consensus for strong change from the grassroots".
* On the morning of August 2, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the August 2023 press conference.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested press agencies to promote the implementation of the contents of Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW, dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. In particular, pay special attention to specific development targets and 9 main tasks and solutions to bring Nghe An to rapid, sustainable and comprehensive development.
Press agencies also need to promote the Program of meetings and dialogues between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and heads of Party committees and commune-level authorities, and major events and holidays of the month.
* According to the plan, by August 30, the recruitment of kindergarten teachers for grades 06 and 09 must be completed. Therefore, at this time, many localities are working hard to ensure the rights of teachers and the convenience of schools when there is only 1 month left until the new school year.
* The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense has just issued Notice No. 109/TB-VP-PCTT on the operation and regulation of water at Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir, Xa Luong Commune, Tuong Duong District and Nam Mo Hydropower Reservoir (Ta Ca Commune, Ky Son District).
* Within 1 month, the Traffic Police - Order Team of Vinh City Police has patrolled, controlled, inspected and handled the acts of stopping and parking vehicles in violation of regulations. The team has drawn up records and handled more than 700 violations; of which nearly 90 cases were fined for stopping and parking in violation of regulations.
