On November 5, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council attended the National Great Unity Day at Residential Group 11, Kim Long Ward, Hue City (Thua Thien Hue Province) to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

The origin of Vietnamese strength

Residential Group 11 is located along the main Kim Long road, a tourist route along the Huong River to the historical sites in the West of Hue city. The group has 375 households and 1,550 people. The economic life of the people mainly depends on business, small trade and a few households doing traditional jobs. The project of the Huong River overpass and Nguyen Hoang Ring Road 3 is currently being implemented in the area. The National Great Unity Festival was held on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Tradition Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024). At the festival, the people reviewed the history and glorious traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and evaluated 1 year of implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

The National Great Unity Day was held on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Tradition Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024). At the festival, people reviewed the glorious history and tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and evaluated 1 year of implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics said that in the coming time, when the National Assembly issues a resolution to establish a centrally-governed city, it will pose many challenges and also great opportunities for Thua Thien Hue. On the one hand, it will affirm the achievements the province has made in recent years; secondly, it will position Hue in the country's development, opening up the province's potential and strengths.

According to comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, when becoming a city directly under the Central Government, the task of building and developing Hue city is first and foremost the strength of the people. At the same time, the Central Government will allocate many resources in the direction of "Hue for the whole country, the whole country for Hue", creating a mindset for us to act in the spirit of a city directly under the Central Government.
