Hai Duong's processing and manufacturing industry exceeds first quarter growth target

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first quarter, Hai Duong's industrial production index (IIP) increased by 13% over the same period in 2024. In particular, the processing and manufacturing industry was one of the main growth drivers with an increase of 17.5%, exceeding the set target of 14.7%.

Some products have exceeded the target production level such as: car assembly reached 7,663 units (scenario 7,300 units, exceeding the target by 5%); animal feed is estimated to reach more than 654,000 tons (scenario 638,000 tons, exceeding the target by 2.6%)...

Some new projects and production expansion projects coming into operation are the main factors helping the processing and manufacturing industry grow quite high such as: Guangxun Vietnam Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. project (Dai An industrial park expansion); Bonsen Vietnam Creative Technology Co., Ltd. project (Lai Cach industrial park); Sumiden Vietnam Automobile Electric Cable Co., Ltd. expansion project (Dai An industrial park); new production line project of Ducar Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. (Phu Thai industrial park)...

In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will coordinate to review and urge the progress of projects that have been approved for investment according to the commitment to be implemented in 2025. Continue to implement the Project "Developing high-tech industry and supporting industry in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030". Implement management regulations and accelerate the progress of infrastructure construction of industrial clusters. Closely monitor the situation, improve forecasting capabilities, provide market signal information to help businesses, organizations and individuals quickly grasp market developments to adjust production and business activities accordingly...
