Highlights of the first quarter

In the first 3 months of the year, the Phung Hiep District Party Committee has proactively developed programs and plans to concretize documents of the Central and the province in line with the actual situation of the locality and thoroughly grasped and implemented them. The District Party Committee has led and directed Party committees at all levels in the district to grasp, deploy and organize the implementation of the Conclusions of the Central Party Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Provincial Party Committee on the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus and personnel work to ensure timely implementation, content, progress, procedures, and regulations of the Central and the province. At the same time, deploy the development of projects to arrange and streamline the apparatus and organize decisions on ending activities, establishing new Party organizations, and merging agencies and units.

Mass mobilization work, activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations have been proactive and innovative, always closely following the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels. Patriotic emulation movements have been widely launched and have received positive responses from the people. Administrative reform and digital transformation have made much progress, and most agencies and units have paid attention to implementing them well.

In addition, economic development continued to have good progress, with key indicators all increasing compared to the same period: total production value increased by 15.8%, total social development investment capital in the area increased by 12%, domestic revenue increased by 60.2%. Agricultural production, industry - handicrafts, trade - services continued to develop steadily, the production value of the three sectors all increased compared to the same period.

In terms of culture and society, many positive results were achieved. The spring and New Year activities were carefully and safely organized for the people, and social protection beneficiaries, families with meritorious services, and poor households were taken care of in a timely manner, creating high consensus in the whole society. National defense and security were ensured, and political security and social order and safety were maintained and stabilized.

Determined to carry out the second quarter tasks

Mr. Tong Hoang Khoi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Phung Hiep District Party Committee, said that focusing on leading, directing and organizing the strict implementation of documents of the Central and the province on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee. Focusing on orienting public opinion and promoting political and ideological education among cadres, party members and the masses to correctly and fully understand the meaning and importance of this policy in order to create high unity in awareness and responsibility of the political system and consensus of the whole society.

“We request that Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations from the district to the grassroots level, especially the leaders, continue to pay attention to directing the implementation of the political tasks of the agencies and units set out at the beginning of the year, avoiding the situation where cadres and Party members show signs of hesitation, anxiety, and lack of initiative in their work, which will affect the overall results of the Party Committee. Direct the organization to seriously implement Plan No. 348 dated March 26, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee "on the implementation of the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and the construction of a 2-level local government organization model", paying attention to fully implementing the tasks and on time assigned by the Provincial Party Committee", Mr. Tong Hoang Khoi emphasized.

In addition, it is necessary to focus on directing the acceleration of housing construction progress for subjects under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district to ensure the set progress. Focus on improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations; improve the quality of campaigns and movements. Direct the effective implementation of administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, strengthen government mass mobilization work, effectively implement the model of "Friendly Government" associated with "e-Government", improve the satisfaction level of people and businesses.

Continue to focus on directing the development of agricultural production such as: propagating and mobilizing people to convert crops and livestock, especially ineffective sugarcane and fruit orchards to growing crops according to the value chain to ensure product output. Focus on consolidating and improving the quality of activities of clubs, cooperative economic groups and agricultural production cooperatives. Pay attention to building and replicating models of high economic efficiency and typical local products (OCOP). Speed ​​up the disbursement of public investment capital, promptly resolve difficulties in site clearance. Pay attention to planning management, construction order, public land management and urban embellishment in the area...

Speaking at the recent 30th Conference of the Party Executive Committee of Phung Hiep district, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, requested Phung Hiep district to strengthen the work of grasping the situation, stabilizing the ideology of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people before the policy of rearranging the organizational apparatus of the political system. Propagating to union members, association members and people to clearly understand the rearrangement of the organizational apparatus of the political system in order to expand the space for development, perform well the development task, towards the common interests of the people.

Be proactive and ready to implement the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and build a 2-level local government model according to the direction of the Central Government and the guidance of the province; in which, well implement the work of reviewing and inventorying assets, handing over tasks and funds according to regulations; immediately deploy the operation of the 2-level local government model (provincial and grassroots levels) according to regulations.

Promote the spirit of internal solidarity, continue to implement tasks according to the 2025 program and plan, closely follow the assigned political tasks, programs and plans of the Provincial Party Committee. Promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in protecting the Party, State and People; perform well the work of supervision and social criticism. Perform well the work of forecasting and grasping the situation; lead and direct the implementation of tasks, programs and plans immediately after the disorganization of district-level administrative units in accordance with the actual conditions of the locality, contributing to improving people's lives.
