After more than 3 years of implementing Plan No. 39-KH/TU dated September 21, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TU dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW, studying and following Uncle Ho in Hanoi is associated with performing political tasks, promptly and effectively resolving urgent and outstanding issues of localities, agencies and units. In particular, the role of setting an example is promoted, thereby contributing to raising awareness, responsibility, innovating working style, manners, and service attitudes; effectively resolving urgent and outstanding issues of the people, especially in land management, construction order, and granting of land use right certificates, etc.
Many units choose key content, urgent and prominent issues to focus on leadership and direction, including enhancing public service responsibilities, promoting administrative reform, thoroughly resolving many long-standing backlog cases, creating trust among the people.
Improve discipline and responsibility
In 2024, along with implementing the whole-course theme, units in Hanoi have identified specific and key contents for implementation in studying and following Uncle Ho. In particular, it is necessary to combine studying and following Uncle Ho with implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TU, dated August 7, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on strengthening discipline, discipline and responsibility in handling work in the political system of Hanoi City; innovating working methods and styles, overcoming the pushing and avoiding in handling work, creating strong and positive changes in the performance of public duties of officials and civil servants of the City.
In Dong Da district, with the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on building a team of Dong Da district cadres who are pioneers and exemplary in maintaining strict discipline, order and responsibility in handling work in the current period", practical models in localities and units were deployed. In particular, the district leaders requested each Party Committee and unit to select at least 1 key, breakthrough task related to the economic, cultural and social fields to implement in 2024; regularly direct the grasp and timely resolution of outstanding and urgent cases in localities, agencies and units...
Me Linh district has implemented the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on strengthening discipline, order and responsibility in handling work in the political system of Me Linh district", emphasizing that cadres absolutely do not avoid or shirk responsibility; constantly improve their spirit, attitude and sense of responsibility for assigned work. From there, arouse love, will, aspiration and enthusiasm to build and develop Me Linh district with specific, practical and effective actions.
With the 2024 theme on "Improving discipline, responsibility, and efficiency in performing duties and tasks of cadres and party members of Hai Ba Trung district", units in Hai Ba Trung district focus on improving specific issues such as dedication, enthusiasm, responsibility, doing everything that is beneficial to the people, no matter how small; avoiding anything that is harmful to the people, no matter how small... At the same time, the district continues to implement the theme "Talking goes hand in hand with doing in building a cultural life"; strongly innovating leadership, direction, management and operation methods, ensuring that they are both comprehensive and focused, with key points associated with the process of personalization, individualization, and specific authority and responsibility of the collective and individual in assigning and implementing tasks, in each stage of the work processing process.
For the Women's Union at all levels in Hanoi, studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology continues to be demonstrated in the movements of building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, "Women in the Capital behave beautifully", building elegant and civilized lifestyles and lifestyles of Hanoians. In particular, the Union at all levels continues the movement "Roads/Street sections blooming" by improving the quality of roads, streets, flower spots, community activity spots... women self-manage to be green, clean, beautiful, blooming. It can be said that, according to the theme determined each year, units in the city aim to pay more attention to improving the working style of cadres; building the image of exemplary cadres and party members and linking the responsibility of setting an example in studying and following Uncle Ho with the emulation movements of the unit and locality itself.
