The 2024 Lao Cai Province Law Competition on Ethnic Minority Affairs is organized with the aim of diversifying the forms of propaganda and dissemination of legal education for ethnic minorities in Lao Cai province. This is an opportunity for cadres working on legal propaganda to exchange, learn, and share experiences in propaganda and dissemination of law at the grassroots level, accumulate more knowledge and find good practices and effective propaganda models to replicate in the province.
The contest is also an opportunity for the teams to improve their legal knowledge, grasp the regulations on their responsibilities and powers in the process of performing their duties; skillful behavior skills, the ability to carry out propaganda work for the people; raise awareness of the importance of ethnic work, legal propaganda work at the grassroots level, contributing to changing the behavior of people in complying with the law.
The competition has 9 teams from 9 districts, towns and cities in the province. Each team has a maximum of 20 members, who are officials, civil servants and public employees working in the dissemination and education of law, culture, society, information and communication of units; heads and deputy heads of villages, unions, prestigious people among ethnic minorities...
The teams will go through 3 rounds: Greeting round, knowledge round on laws and ethnic policies, and finally a skit round. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will select the team with the highest score to participate in the Northwest Regional round, organized by the Ethnic Committee.
