Meanwhile, the socio-economic situation in January achieved positive results, with some indicators increasing compared to the same period last year. In addition, some indicators have not met expectations. The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the directors of relevant departments and branches to urgently review, evaluate, and propose specific solutions to overcome the situation. The city wants GRDP growth to reach double digits, and these indicators must also grow accordingly.
Regarding solutions and tasks in February and the coming time, Mr. Phan Van Mai requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to immediately focus on work with a spirit of innovation and determination; strictly implement Directive 19 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on strengthening administrative discipline as well as the 1-3-7 formula in handling work, the 3-3 formula for working groups. The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, heads of departments, branches, units, and chairmen of local People's Committees must focus and be determined to tighten administrative discipline.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested to focus on tasks and solutions to ensure GRDP growth of 10%. First of all, it is necessary to ensure the mobilization of total social investment capital of over 600,000 billion VND. Along with that, it is necessary to resolve backlog projects; promote growth of industry and services; and immediately implement approved plans.
Mr. Phan Van Mai proposed to immediately deploy outstanding policy mechanisms according to Resolution 57 to develop science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in the business sector and scientific research units.
Focus on key projects and works
