Today, January 10, the Hanoi National University Examination Center announced the implementation of the HSA high school students' competency assessment test project in 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, the Hanoi National University Examination Center plans to organize 6 competency assessment tests, with a total scale of about 84,000 candidates.

Phase 1 will take place on March 23-24; the final phase will take place on June 1-2 in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh.

Specifically, the time and location of the expected exams are as follows (the exam schedule may change and will be notified to candidates 14 days before the exam):

To register for the exam, candidates go to the Hanoi National University Examination Center website and select the exam location, exam date, and exam session. The registration system only allows accounts to log in and operate on one computer device at the same time. The system allows candidates to register for a maximum of 2 exams per year (as of December 31). Two consecutive exams must be at least 28 days apart. The exam session will automatically close when registration is full.

The exam fee is 500,000 VND/candidate/exam. Candidates who have paid the exam fee will not be refunded for any reason. After 96 hours, the exam will be automatically canceled if the candidate does not complete the fee payment.

To take the HSA assessment test, candidates take it on a computer, taking 195 - 199 minutes. The test consists of 3 parts with objective multiple choice questions (choosing answers) and fill-in-the-blank questions in the fields of mathematics (50 questions, 75 minutes), literature - language (50 questions, 60 minutes), natural sciences - social sciences (50 questions, 60 minutes). Parts 1 and 3 will have 1 - 3 additional test questions that are not scored.

Candidates can check their exam results and receive their exam result certificates 14 days after taking the exam.
