Investigation into the case of a female 11th grade student being beaten and hospitalized

An 11th grade female student in Nghe An was beaten by a group of friends and had to be hospitalized for treatment.

On March 28, Mr. Cao Thanh Bao, Principal of Ha Huy Tap High School (Vinh City, Nghe An), said that the school had just temporarily suspended 6 students of this school so that the police could investigate and clarify the case of a group beating that caused a female student to be hospitalized at noon on March 26.

According to Mr. Bao, initially the school and the police determined that due to a previous conflict, at noon on March 26, the female student PTTL (class 12D5) made an appointment with the female student THMN (class 11D6) to go to Vinh Tan Lake area (Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City) to "talk".

Here, female student N. was assaulted by a group of other female students. The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to the hospital by her family for treatment.

Mr. Bao also said that the incident happened outside the school, but after receiving the information, the school invited the students' parents to work, and at the same time asked the students to write a report. The incident is currently under investigation by the police.

On the same day, two videos appeared on social media recording scenes of male students fighting on school grounds and another incident occurring near the gate of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Vinh City), in which a student was wearing the school's uniform.

A leader of Huynh Thuc Khang High School said that the incident happened inside the school, the police are clarifying; the incident happened outside the school, the school is verifying the information.
