Coordination, especially inter-sectoral coordination in CJES, has been given attention and focus and achieved many positive results.
Despite many difficulties, the number of cases and the amount of money received increased, but the results of THADS in 2023 reached the highest ever, with more than 575,000 cases, collecting over 89,000 billion VND, of which over 20,000 billion VND was from recovering assets misappropriated and lost in corruption and economic cases (an increase of nearly 4,500 billion VND compared to 2022).
State management in the field of state compensation has been strengthened. Inter-sectoral coordination in this field has been increasingly deepened. Many complicated and prolonged cases have been resolved, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, while raising the sense of responsibility of civil servants in performing their duties.
In addition, the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption continues to be focused on and strictly implemented by the Ministry and the THADS system of the Justice sector.
In addition, inspections and examinations are conducted regularly, focusing on surprise inspections and inspections of agencies and organizations with signs of law violations and areas managed by the Ministry of Justice that have many pressing issues and public concerns. In 2023, the Ministry of Justice conducted 53 inspections, verifications, complaints and denunciations settlements and post-inspection inspections.
The key tasks of judicial work in the first quarter of 2024 are set out, including continuing to direct and organize the execution of judgments, ensuring the completion of assigned civil judgment execution targets in 2023; implementing solutions to improve the effectiveness of administrative judgment execution.
