In 2023, the growth of outstanding policy credit in Dien Bien province will reach 16.17%.

Leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch presented a certificate of collective performance in 2023 to the Dien Bien Dong District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office.

In 2023, the Dien Bien Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies closely followed the direction of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Bank for Social Policies to promptly and effectively deploy and organize preferential credit policies in the area. The management and operation of credit policies were implemented closely, closely and flexibly, and the allocated capital was disbursed quickly and to the right beneficiaries . The outstanding loan growth rate reached 16.17% (the highest since 2017). During the year, the Bank for Social Policies disbursed VND 1,489.7 billion to 25,114 poor households and other policy beneficiaries, an increase of VND 47.6 billion compared to 2022; created new jobs for 4,258 workers from the job creation capital source, an increase of 457 workers compared to 2022; There are over 7,000 clean water and environmental sanitation works newly built or renovated... actively contributing to poverty reduction and ensuring social security in the area.

Leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch presented certificates to individuals who excellently completed their tasks in 2023.

The quality of policy credit activities at the commune, district and provincial levels has been significantly improved. The number of savings and loan groups classified as good and fair reached 97.75%; 128/129 commune-level units were classified as good, accounting for 99.2%; 10/10 transaction offices were classified as good; branches with 12/12 months of credit activities were classified as having completed their tasks well. The quality of inspection and supervision activities of the Board of Directors at the provincial and district levels has been improved.

Besides, during the year, the Branch has well implemented the employee regime and policies such as : salary, bonus, insurance , shift meals, toxic compensation, leave, etc.

The conference assessed and analyzed the achievements and limitations in policy credit activities in 2023. At the same time, there was high consensus on the direction and tasks for 2024 with 4 goals, 5 tasks and 9 key solutions .

On this occasion, the Dien Bien Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies commended 14 collectives and 18 individuals for their outstanding achievements in performing their tasks in 2023.
