The Department of Education and Training of districts and towns coordinates with schools to advise the chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and towns to decide whether preschool children, primary and secondary school students should take time off from school; private universities proactively decide whether students and trainees should attend school.
The Department of Education and Training requires that the decision to allow preschool children, pupils, students and university students to take time off from school must be announced early to proactively implement, avoiding disruption and obstacles, especially during travel and boarding implementation.
The Department also requires units and schools to regularly update information on the current heavy rain situation; maintain contact through multiple information channels to proactively respond safely and minimize damage caused by heavy rain.
