Samsung recently revealed some information about its 3-fold phone at the Galaxy S25 launch event.
Accordingly, the company confirmed that it is developing a foldable smartphone with multiple hinges, promising to bring a breakthrough experience to users.
Analyst Ross Young says the device will have a main display of around 10 inches when fully unfolded. However, technically, the device will only fold and unfold twice, more like a bi-fold device.
The device's outer display is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold7, expected to be 6.49 inches in size. This is a notable change from previous generations, helping to improve the display experience when used in folded mode. At the same time, Samsung still maintains the safe design philosophy, helping to protect the main screen from being exposed when folded. This is an important difference from Huawei's tri-fold phone models, ensuring better durability and a more premium feel when used.
Currently, Samsung's three-screen folding smartphone has not been revealed much. However, when it appears on Samsung's poster, it is likely that it will be launched in the near future. Many sources predict that it may be in the third quarter of this year.
