Donating blood is my happiness.
Captain Hoang Dinh Trung, a youth union member of the Economic Security Department, Provincial Police, donated blood at the 17th "Red Sunday - 2025" voluntary blood donation festival.
Captain Hoang Dinh Trung, a member of the Youth Union of the Economic Security Department, Provincial Police, shared: Through following information on social networks, newspapers, radio... I have seen many cases of patients in critical condition due to work accidents or serious illnesses in dire need of blood transfusion to overcome "death's door". However, for some reasons such as the blood reserve at the hospital is no longer available or the patient's blood type is not the same, relatives living far away cannot come to donate blood in time, causing the patient to not survive the critical condition. That is what urged me to take action, to participate in voluntary blood donation whenever the agency or unit launches it. At the same time, I also actively encourage colleagues, family and friends to participate.
Up to now, I have donated blood 15 times. “The first time I donated blood, I was nervous and worried, but afterwards, I felt very happy because I had done something meaningful. Every time I donate blood, I feel proud and happy and will continue to donate blood when my health allows.”
During many years of continuous participation in the voluntary blood donation movement, Captain Trung has received many Certificates of Merit and awards for his outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation and in promoting voluntary blood donation. His enthusiasm, dynamism and positivity have become a meaningful driving force and a noble humanistic value in the voluntary blood donation movement.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble gesture.
Ms. Le Thi Loan, Secretary of the Dong Hai Ward Youth Union (Thanh Hoa City), participated in donating blood at the 17th "Red Sunday - 2025" voluntary blood donation festival.
She first started participating in voluntary blood donation activities in 2008, when she was a freshman in university. Since then, every year, when there is a blood donation campaign, Ms. Le Thi Loan, Secretary of the Dong Hai Ward Youth Union (Thanh Hoa City), has been a pioneer and enthusiastically participated. At least once a year, each time donating 250ml of blood, up to now, she has volunteered to donate her blood 19 times, contributing to the treatment of patients in need of blood.
At the same time, she is also an exemplary Youth Union officer, actively mobilizing family, friends, relatives and colleagues to participate in voluntary blood donation to save lives with the spirit of "A drop of blood given - A life saved", helping many people get the necessary blood source, timely treatment and health care.
Ms. Loan confided: "I always keep in mind that voluntary blood donation not only helps and saves the lives of patients who need blood transfusions, but also serves as a way to check my health through blood test results. Every time I donate blood, I see more and more the importance of voluntary blood drops. There are so many serious illnesses waiting for volunteers to give them life from drops of blood of love. Blood can wait for patients, but patients cannot wait for blood, which motivates me to be more active in directly participating in voluntary blood donation, and encouraging relatives and friends to participate in blood donation.
