Crowds of people brave the rain to make a pilgrimage to Hung Temple to pay tribute to the National Ancestors

According to records, since early morning, crowds of people have flocked to the Hung Temple Historical Site. Authorities have set up soft fences in the Cong Quan yard to regulate and guide people moving to the temples, ensuring security, order and safety for visitors.

According to statistics from the Hung Kings' Commemoration Organizing Committee, on April 6 (the 9th day of the 3rd lunar month), nearly 20,000 visitors visited Hung Temple. Although the number of people and vehicles was large, the work of regulating and dividing traffic and arranging parking lots was flexibly implemented by the Phu Tho Provincial Police, helping to ensure traffic order and safety.

It is known that the Hung Kings' Commemoration and Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2025 will take place from March 29 to April 7, 2025 (ie from March 1 to the end of March 10 of the lunar calendar), with many rich cultural and artistic activities, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

Despite the rain, from early morning on April 6, tens of thousands of people still flocked to the Hung Temple historical relic site in Phu Tho.

Leading the way was the honor guard carrying the red flag with yellow star, festival flags and wreaths with the words "Forever grateful to the Hung Kings who built the country".

This holiday lasts 3 days so the number of visitors to Hung Temple is higher than previous years.

From the entrance, the line of people was so thick that they had to move step by step to reach the ceremony area.

Although we had to wait a long time, everyone was happy and excited.

The road to the Lower Temple and the Upper Temple was packed with people.

Many families brought offerings from their hometowns, traveling hundreds of kilometers to offer incense to the National Ancestor.

Due to the large number of people, the authorities had to separate the crowds and divide them into groups to avoid jostling and pushing.

Police and youth volunteers are always on duty to ensure safety for the festival.
 

The annual Hung Temple Festival is the largest spiritual and cultural festival in the country, held according to national rituals.

Although the number of pilgrims was very large, thanks to the careful preparation of the Organizing Committee, the Hung Temple Festival took place in order and safety.
