GPT-4.5 outperforms GPT-4o in almost every category, including everyday queries, professional queries, and creative intelligence. GPT-4.5 has a broader knowledge base, improved ability to track user intent, and higher sentiment index. This is useful for users in writing, programming, and solving real-world problems.

However, this is not a reasoning model like o1 or o3-mini. It is designed for multiple purposes, developed using pre-training and post-training. The reasoning models outperform GPT-4.5 on tasks like encryption and math.

GPT-4.5 supports file and image uploads and can perform writing and encryption operations but does not support voice, video and screen sharing.

GPT-4.5 is currently available to ChatGPT Pro users for $200/month. In the future, the model can be expanded to more objects and integrated into Microsoft Azure AI Foundry.
