Speaking to VietNamNet on the evening of April 1, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment (Ho Chi Minh City National University) said that the Competency Assessment Council had worked with the An Giang University exam site, and the results determined that 4 candidates were affected in their test time. The An Giang University Exam Council had contacted each candidate directly, apologized, and created conditions for them to take the second round of the exam without collecting a fee (VND300,000/student).
"After each organization, we learn from experience because even a small mistake by the exam supervisor can affect the candidates," said Mr. Chinh.

The first round of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University had 126,311 candidates taking the exam in 25 localities from the Central to the Southwest with 55 exam clusters and 118 exam locations. The exam results were used by more than 100 universities and colleges for admission.
As VietNamNet reported earlier, after the exam, on some forums, candidates reported that at the An Giang University exam site (P.002), the exam supervisor delayed the candidates' test time by nearly 20 minutes.
“At first, the supervisor said he would make up for the extra 10 minutes, but at 11am, the candidates still had to submit their papers,” the candidate said, adding that in 20 minutes, they could do 5 or more questions, but the time pressure caused some of them to randomly pick answers, affecting their scores. The candidates had studied and spent a lot of time on this exam, and each of them had their own expectations about their scores.
