The first cold spell of the season will help the weather in the North cool down next week, ending the heat in the Central region.
On August 27, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the low pressure trough is being compressed and pushed down from the north by the first cold air mass of the season. Tonight and tomorrow, the northern provinces will experience rain with a common amount of 40-70 mm, in some places over 150 mm.
From August 29, the northern provinces were affected by the first cold air mass of the season, so the temperature dropped and the weather was mostly clear.
The American website Accuweather predicts that Hanoi's temperature next week will be 25-34 degrees Celsius. High points over 1,500 meters above sea level such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai) will be 15-25 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave in the Central region tomorrow will tend to gradually decrease, only appearing in the provinces from Quang Binh to Ninh Thuan with the highest temperature during the day commonly ranging from 36-38 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.
From August 29, the heat wave is likely to end in the central provinces. The cause is the impact of the early season cold air combined with the tropical convergence zone causing rain from Nghe An to Quang Binh with a common amount of 20-50 mm, in some places over 100 mm. The rain then tends to move to the southern provinces.
During the September 2nd holiday (from September 1 to 4), the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue will have little rain, sunny days, the highest temperature of the day is 32-35 degrees Celsius. From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, there will be showers and thunderstorms, the highest temperature of the day is commonly 31-24 degrees Celsius.
From now until the end of the National Day holiday, the South and Central Highlands will have showers and thunderstorms in the evening and sunny days. The highest daily temperature in the Central Highlands is generally 27-30 degrees Celsius, in the South 29-32 degrees Celsius.
