Department of Industry and Trade and People's Committee of Khanh Vinh district lead the province's DDCI index in 2024

On the afternoon of March 28, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the results of the survey of the Department, Branch and Local Competitiveness Index (DDCI) of Khanh Hoa province in 2024. Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.

The results of the 2024 Provincial DDCI Index survey announced by the Provincial People's Committee show that in the top 3 list, in the group of departments, branches, and units with the leading index is the Department of Industry and Trade (78.52 points); followed by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (now the Department of Agriculture and Environment), and the State Treasury. In the local group, the People's Committee of Khanh Vinh district leads with 72.84 points; followed by the People's Committee of Khanh Son district and the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan awarded certificates of merit to the Department of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Khanh Vinh district.

Based on the announced results, delegates discussed and proposed many solutions to improve the DDCI index in the province such as: Promoting the application of information technology, digital transformation in management and provision of public services; continuing to simplify administrative procedures; having timely solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises in the production and business process; researching policies to support small and medium enterprises; strengthening propaganda work on specific local policies in supporting production and business enterprises...

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan congratulated the units with high DDCI index and said that 2024 is the first year the province has conducted a survey and assessment of the DDCI index for departments, branches, and localities in the province. Thereby, demonstrating the province's determination to improve the investment and business environment, enhance the capacity for transparent and effective economic management... Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan requested departments, branches, and localities to absorb the opinions of enterprises, actively implement solutions to improve the DDCI index; research and advise the province to issue specific policies to support enterprises investing in the province, especially investing in clean and renewable industries; strengthen dialogue with enterprises to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles; ensure publicity and transparency in providing information to enterprises investing in the province...

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to the two leading units in the DDCI index of the province in 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Khanh Vinh district. The Department of Finance also officially launched the electronic information page on the DDCI index of Khanh Hoa province at: https://ddci.khanhhoa.gov.vn.
