The Center for Business Studies and Enterprise Support (BSA) is the coordinating unit of the Forum.

The Mekong Connect Forum 2024 will take place on December 17 and 18, 2024 at An Giang University, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province, with the theme: "Promoting economic, trade and technological cooperation in the Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country, towards sustainable development in the new competitive context".

About 1,000 delegates, including leaders of ministries, provinces, cities, experts, and domestic and international enterprises, participated in the forum.

Mekong Connect 2024 focuses on three key areas: economy, trade and technology, placed in the connection between the delta provinces and the connection between the region and Ho Chi Minh City in the new competitive context.

The Mekong Delta is the rice granary, fish granary, and agricultural granary of the whole country, while Ho Chi Minh City is the leading economic and technological center, so through this forum, we can strengthen connections for sustainable development together, in a new context and new space.

The new context and space are the requirements for green and circular production, mandatory criteria of export markets; changes in domestic market consumption trends; competition on commercial channels, especially online sales channels on technology platforms... All of these put Vietnamese enterprises in front of more challenges than opportunities and they must strengthen cooperation, connection, and technology to survive and develop.

Delegates will also discuss in depth green startups, creative startups from local resources, circular economy, public-private partnership... of the Mekong Delta and the whole country.

The Forum Organizing Committee hopes that Mekong Connect 2024 will be an opportunity for the Mekong Delta provinces to introduce their potential and attract investment.

The forum has major workshops and seminars such as: Workshop "Developing indigenous resources and local economy through regional linkage in the new competitive context"; seminar "Investment capital for sustainable linkage; Human resources for sustainable linkage".

Within the framework of the forum, there are also activities that attract the attention of many businesses and young people such as: Exchange: "Stories - startup journey"; International exchange "Successful experiences from startups in the regional market"; Livestream sales on the topic: "Promoting sustainable trade based on local resources"...
