Kylian Mbappe's future is currently in turmoil after deciding to stay at PSG until the summer of 2024 and not renew his contract according to the terms. With the voice of President Emmanuel Macron, Mbappe affirmed that he shares the same views as Mr. Macron.
Mbappe is currently training with the French team to prepare for the Euro qualifiers.
“The president wants me to stay in Paris, my goal is to stay too, we are thinking the same way.
"That was the only option at the moment. Honestly, I didn't think I would offend anyone. I just sent a letter. People can talk, criticize... I know the reasons for what I do and what I say. I know why I do this, there's no problem with that" - Mbappe shared in the press room before France's match with Gibraltar.
Mbappe shares information about himself in the press conference room of the French team
Earlier, the French President spoke out and declared that he would convince the 25-year-old striker to change his mind about the possibility of leaving this summer. Mr. Macron said: "I have no information, but I will try to intervene in this matter."
With Mbappe's decisions, the 25-year-old striker will hardly be able to stay until the summer of 2024. Because PSG's owners decided to sell him this summer instead of letting the French striker leave for free next year.
Mbappe and the French team will have a match against Gibraltar in the Euro qualifiers early tomorrow morning.
