Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Dung, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Joint Stock Company 22, said: “After receiving instructions from the Head of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering on the implementation of the work of ensuring dry food for relief in Myanmar, the Company has carefully inspected the products in the existing warehouse as well as packaging specifications and food safety standards before releasing them from the warehouse, and mobilized officers, employees and workers to participate in loading and unloading dry food, ensuring transportation and assembly time according to instructions from above.”
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Ha, Deputy Brigade Commander, Chief of Staff of Brigade 971 : On March 29, immediately upon receiving instructions from the head of the Department of Motorcycles and Transport, the Brigade proactively reviewed and organized forces and vehicles including 55 officers and soldiers and 8 trucks ready to carry out the mission.
At 5:30 this morning, upon receiving the order, the Brigade mobilized forces and vehicles, coordinated with Joint Stock Company 22 to load and unload 40 tons of dry food to transport and gather at the Cargo Terminal of Noi Bai Airport. In addition, the unit also arranged trucks to transport 15 inflatable tents of Military Region 2 and handed them over to the Engineering Corps to carry out the mission in Myanmar. The transportation process was quick and absolutely safe for people and vehicles.
