Disney's highly anticipated blockbuster series

On August 10, Disney held the D23 Expo event to introduce a series of upcoming film projects.

Movie "Moana 2"

Set three years after the events of the first film, Moana is now an adult. Following the call of her ancestors, she is determined to embark on a new voyage to distant seas, on a mission to connect all people and communities in Oceania.

The trailer released by Disney shows Moana's group facing a series of challenges to complete their noble mission.

Also in a brief scene, Moana reunites with her grandmother's spirit. The two embrace, creating an emotional moment. In addition, the close relationship between Moana and her little sister Simea is also explored in this film.

"Moana 2" is the first project that David G. Derrick Jr. takes on the role of director. In addition, he will also take on the role of screenwriter.

The film is scheduled to premiere on November 29, 2024 in theaters nationwide.

Movie "Mufasa: The lion king"

"Mufasa: The Lion King" is the prequel to "The Lion King" (2019), a blockbuster that grossed more than 1.6 billion USD and entered the list of top 10 highest-grossing films of all time.

The film is about the monkey Rafiki telling Kiara (Simba's daughter) about how her grandfather Mufasa overcame many challenges to become the lion king.

The Lion King's childhood memories are gradually revealed, in which, it is impossible not to mention the special relationship between Mufasa and his brother Taka (or Scar). The film's journey spans from when the two first met and became close brothers, until Taka betrayed and changed his mind.

Movie "Snow white" (live-action version)

Transforming into Snow White, Rachel Zegler creates sympathy at first sight with her beautiful, lovely appearance and fresh energy for the role.

In the newly released teaser, Rachel Zegler's character design closely follows the animated version.

She appeared in a blue puff-sleeved shirt, a high white collar, and a flowing yellow skirt. The character had short “ebony” hair and wore pretty red shoes.

Appearing next to Snow White is the Evil Queen, played by star Gal Gadot. While Snow White appears pure and holy, the Queen is the complete opposite with a powerful, evil image in a mysterious black outfit.

Besides character design, the musical style in the live-action version of "Snow White" also made a strong impression.

A series of hit songs from the original film, including "Whistle While You Work" performed by Rachel Zegler, will also be featured, while songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will also collaborate on new songs for the film.

The film is scheduled to premiere on March 21, 2025 in theaters nationwide.
