Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Do Thi Dieu Hanh said that the workshop "Linking the development of Binh Dinh tourism products and connecting Da Nang and Khanh Hoa railway tourism products" was organized with the aim of enhancing cooperation between international travel companies in Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh and major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, exploiting the potential and strengths of tourism resources in each locality, forming tourism products, especially exploiting the railway connecting localities in the region. At the same time, linking tourist sources from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Dinh and other provinces and cities in the region; as well as introducing stimulus programs and new tourism products of Binh Dinh.

The Workshop program includes 03 sessions. Session 1: Introduction to the potential, products, and policies to stimulate tourism in Binh Dinh. Session 2: Discussions and speeches by delegates attending the Workshop. Session 3: Connecting businesses of the Binh Dinh Tourism Association.

At the workshop, delegates analyzed, evaluated and proposed scientific and practical solutions on the development orientation of Binh Dinh tourism products in general, railway tourism in particular and the orientation to attract tourists to Binh Dinh in the coming time.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu assessed that Binh Dinh is one of the localities with favorable conditions to develop railway tourism thanks to its strategic location on the North-South railway line, rich natural landscapes and many attractive tourist destinations; has Dieu Tri station - one of the largest stations in the Central region, playing an important role in railway traffic; Quy Nhon station is a branch of the railway line, convenient for tourists to travel to the city center and to coastal tourist destinations. The railway passing through the coastal area is the basis for exploiting coastal sightseeing trains, combined with resort tourism. At the same time, beautiful beaches can be connected to the train station through the shuttle bus system. In addition, the Cham cultural heritage system and the places associated with the history of Tay Son - Nguyen Hue are unmissable stops on the train journey to Binh Dinh.

The Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that in recent times, Binh Dinh has made efforts to diversify tourism products, especially focusing on railway tourism products, promoting the attraction of tourists by train, a unique means of transport in the province.

To contribute to the national tourism industry in achieving the set goals in 2025 as well as building the brand of Vietnam's railway tourism products, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Ha Van Sieu said that Binh Dinh needs to continue to promote research and promulgate policies to develop Binh Dinh tourism, creating favorable conditions for railway tourism to develop in order to accelerate and break through the tourism industry in 2025; upgrade railway infrastructure and diversify railway tourism products; Cooperate with travel companies to build tours combining trains with eco-tourism and resort tourism; Use digital platforms to promote the image of Binh Dinh tourism, provide detailed information at Dieu Tri station to help tourists easily access attractive destinations in the province; Strengthening the implementation of professional, unique tourism promotion communication programs and campaigns imbued with the cultural identity of Vo Binh Dinh towards international integration, focusing first on tourism promotion and stimulus activities in 2025...
