(Dan Tri) - After the phone call, the stepfather hugged his mother's portrait and cried so hard that Hoa (Chinese nationality), who was secretly observing from a distance with a camera, could not hold back her tears.
"My stepfather! It's been cold these past few days, so I just bought him a pair of cotton shoes. Although I don't work far away, I still order food for him to show my filial piety to him.
That day, after receiving my food, my father hung up the phone. I quietly watched from afar through the camera and saw my father burying his face in his hands, hugging and continuously wiping my mother's portrait, sitting there crying like rain. Seeing that scene, I burst into tears," Hoa Hoa (Chinese nationality) wrote, making netizens emotional.

When Hoa was 19, her mother was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away after 16 years of battling the disease. To this day, her family members still cannot get over the pain of this loss. However, Hoa and her younger brother still feel somewhat comforted by having their stepfather as their spiritual support.
The girl shared that her stepfather was the one who raised her and her sister, always supporting their passion. Although they are not biological father and daughter, they treat each other very well.
"I believe that my mother will be very happy to see us always love each other. My sisters and I all have our own families, so my father lives alone. I hope time will slow down a bit so we can have more time to take care of him," Hoa confided.

After her mother passed away, Hoa Hoa asked her father to come live with her but he refused. He agreed to live alone in the countryside because he felt it was safer and more familiar than the city.
Hoa Hoa also suggested that he should find another woman to accompany him in his old age. However, the father shared that he has not thought about it yet and does not want to bother his children.
