After the cozy wedding party at the event center, Phuong Anh (born in 1995, living in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho) and her husband got into the car. Seeing the bride wave goodbye to start a new life, relatives could not contain their emotions.
That evening, a friend sent the bride a video recording the emotional moment of parting. Phuong Anh choked up when looking at the image of her stepfather with red eyes, wiping away tears with his hand in front of both families.

Wanting to keep the video as a souvenir, Phuong Anh decided to share it on social media and unexpectedly received many interactions. Most comments expressed their emotion at the love her stepfather had for her.
"The merit of giving birth is not as good as the merit of raising someone. Many stepfathers or stepmothers have kind hearts and are very affectionate," wrote account Le Mai.
Account Vinh Linh said: "Only with true love can one cry so bitterly. Not all stepfathers treat their wife's children as badly as people think."
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Phuong Anh said that the video was recorded at her and her husband's wedding party which took place on March 9.
"While standing on stage, I saw my father crying. Everyone in the family couldn't hide their emotions because they felt sorry for their daughter who had to leave the protective arms of her family. It was the first time I saw my stepfather cry so much, I felt his love," Phuong Anh said.
According to Phuong Anh, after her marriage broke down, her mother decided to remarry her stepfather, a Malaysian. Because of the geographical distance, she only saw her stepfather 1-2 times a year.
Normally, the two sides rarely talk, but Phuong Anh feels that her stepfather has a gentle personality, loves and gives in to her mother.
"In the past 16 years, I have never heard my father yell or raise his voice. For me, the fact that my stepfather treats my mother well is the greatest happiness," Phuong Anh expressed.
When she learned that her mother was going to marry a man living in Malaysia, Phuong Anh neither objected nor supported her. Deep down, she wished that her mother would find a peaceful place to settle down after an unhappy marriage.
Phuong Anh still remembers, 15 years ago, the first time she set foot in Malaysia to visit her mother. When she heard that her wife's daughter was coming to visit, her stepfather took his own daughter to the airport to welcome her.
"From the first time we met, my father behaved very well. His stepchildren quickly became close to me, chatted happily, creating a friendly atmosphere," Phuong Anh recalled.
On the occasion of Phuong Anh's wedding, her stepfather and stepchildren flew from Malaysia to Vietnam to attend the wedding. There was a language barrier between the two sides, but he attended all family meetings to help organize the wedding in the most perfect way.

Before Phuong Anh went to her husband's house, her stepfather wanted to organize a wedding "as perfect as his daughter dreamed". During the days in Vietnam, he was busy with his siblings arranging the decorations. Seeing each action of his stepfather, the girl born in 1995 felt warm in her heart.
"There is an invisible emotional bond that connects us. Even though I am not my stepfather's biological child, every time we meet, everyone in the family is happy, creating a very warm atmosphere," Phuong Anh confided.
It is known that Phuong Anh and her husband used to study at the same high school. Some time ago, her husband moved from Hanoi to Phu Tho to work. At that time, the girl born in 1995 decided to return to Vietnam to work after studying abroad in Korea.

After a few messages asking about work, the couple made an appointment to meet, get to know each other and fall in love.
"Our love story went smoothly. We came together at the right time when we decided to return to our hometown to work. We are enjoying the happy moments after the wedding and looking forward to welcoming our first child," the bride in Phu Tho confided.
