The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) and Viet Duc Aspiration Joint Stock Company (VGEC) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in recruiting students to study vocational training in Germany and converting diplomas for highly skilled workers to work in Germany.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Marko Walde - Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, Mr. Pham Quang Minh - General Director of VGEC. Also witnessed by: Ms. Christina Wegner: Advisor; VIIB5 Council; BMWK; Ms. Anine Linder, Ms. Carolin Ruppert: Project Manager "Hand in Hand for International Talents", DIHK; Mr. Marcel Fernandes: Project Advisor "Hand in Hand for International Talents", DIHK.
Mr. Pham Quang Minh - General Director of VGEC and Mr. Marko Walde - Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam attended the signing ceremony.
At the signing ceremony, AHK representative said: “AHK, as a bridge between Germany and Vietnamese enterprises, has implemented many pilot programs with the German government, the most recent of which is Hand in Hand for International Talents.
From there, we realized that new values and sustainable practices truly benefit both Vietnamese workers and German businesses. Along with that, organizations participating in this work need to have enough prestige, core competencies, great vision and always want to create sustainable values for the community. And I believe that VGEC is such an organization."
VGEC representative affirmed: “With the mission of training and developing high-quality human resources, VGEC is implementing a recruitment and German language training program for workers and vocational students studying in Germany in Vietnam. VGEC always strives to bring quality human resources solutions and create good values for the community”.
In the context of the two countries conducting extensive cooperation in many fields, the cooperation between VGEC and AHK is of great significance in providing a professional education and training environment, contributing to solving the problem of high-quality human resources for both Germany and Vietnam.
Germany has always been the top quality labor market in Europe with good working conditions and social benefits. On the other hand, with qualities such as diligence, hard work, and creativity in studying and working, Vietnamese workers have become a potential human resource that German enterprises are aiming for. Currently, German enterprises recruit Vietnamese workers through two main forms: Vocational training abroad and converting degrees for highly skilled workers.
Vocational training in Germany is a high-quality vocational education and training program in Germany, in which students will have the opportunity to improve and practice their professional skills as well as professional knowledge. As for highly skilled workers (with vocational certificates and work experience) in Vietnam who want to work in Germany, converting their diplomas is an important requirement to ensure the validity and recognition of their expertise in this country.
