40 new roads and 5 bridges named

Dong Ha, Quang Tri province has just completed the installation of nameplates for 40 newly named roads and 5 bridges.

40 streets include: Van Hanh, Pham Than Duat, Hoang Ke Viem, Bui Vien, Dang Xuan Bang in Ward 2; Ly Nhan Tong, Nguyen Phuc Khoat, Nguyen Phuc Chu, Thanh Thai, Nguyen Quy Duc, Le Van Duyet, Lam Hoang, Le Quang Dinh in Ward 3; Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Thiep, Le Trinh in Ward 5; Van Xuan, Nam Bo, Nguyen Huu Ba, Ngo Tat To, Mai Chiem Cuong, Pham Huy Thong, Vu Trong Phung, The Lu in Dong Giang Ward; Tran Quoc Vuong in Dong Thanh Ward; Tran Xuan Soan, Nguyen Trung Ngan in Dong Le Ward; Luong Nghia Dung, Nguyen Binh, Nguyen Phong Sac, Pho Duc Chinh, Phung Chi Kien, Hoang Van Thai, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Khuc Thua Du, Duong Quang Ham, Dao Duy Tung, Dang Van Ngu, Thich Quang Duc, To Vinh Dien in Dong Luong Ward.

5 bridges including: Bach Dang, Dong Ha, An Lac, April 28 and Hieu River (from East to West), spanning Hieu River in Dong Ha City.

These are the routes named after famous people, historical figures who are typical people who have contributed to the revolution, building and protecting the homeland and the country, and 5 bridges associated with the place name Dong Ha. Through that, we aim to continue educating the cultural and historical traditions, love for the homeland, the country, national pride and self-respect for today's and future generations.

Previously, at the 28th session, the People's Council of Quang Tri province, term VIII, passed a resolution on naming roads and bridges in Dong Ha city for 45 routes and 5 bridges. Of which, 40 new routes were named, 5 bridges were named and 5 routes that were already named after the extension of the road boundary were continued to be named.
