Recently, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Gennady Bezdetko and his wife also held a reception to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Russian Federation's National Day.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized that the friendship between the Vietnamese people and the people of the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation has a long history, has been tested by time, and has been cultivated by many generations of leaders and people of the two countries.
