Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien gave a speech at the signing ceremony.

According to the Plan to implement the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030" of the Government, the Social Housing Project in Hamlet 5, Ward 9, Ca Mau City is one of the key projects contributing to the implementation of the social housing development target of Ca Mau province in 2025 assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Tu, Director of VietinBank Ca Mau and Mr. Le Van Phu, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Asia Infrastructure Development and Construction Joint Stock Company signed the credit contract.

The social housing project in Hamlet 5, Ward 9, Ca Mau City is being implemented with the goal of providing nearly 1,000 two-storey townhouses with green space and modern facilities, solving housing difficulties for officials, employees, social policy beneficiaries, armed forces, and low-income people throughout Ca Mau province and neighboring areas.

The two units committed to cooperate closely, together speed up the project implementation, put it into operation soon, hand it over to the people and support credit packages for home buyers with interest rates 1.5-2% lower than the medium and long-term loan interest rates in Vietnam, opening up new stable development opportunities for many people in the province, contributing to improving the urban quality of the province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien emphasized: “Ca Mau identifies the development of social housing as very important. This is the province's goal in accordance with the Government's policy, meeting the needs of cadres, civil servants, and low-income workers in Ca Mau. The implementation of the project is a meaningful and important milestone for the province, contributing to creating a housing fund to help cadres and people have housing conditions.

Mr. Nguyen Tu pledged to support preferential credit packages for officials, civil servants, and low-income workers to buy social housing.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also directed the review of land funds, creating the best conditions for investors interested in building social housing in the area. Particularly for this project, Ca Mau City and related departments and agencies coordinated to support the creation of favorable land for the project to be implemented smoothly, bringing housing to low-income people soon.

“Vietinbank and A Dong Holdings need to coordinate well so that people can soon access housing at the lowest price. In particular, for investors, after the groundbreaking ceremony, they need to speed up the progress, and at the same time pay attention to investing in infrastructure for education, health care, etc. to form a model urban area in Ca Mau,” the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished.
