On the evening of April 16, at the Dak Lak Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the 2025 National Boxing Championship for Strong Teams closed after 5 days of exciting competition. The tournament was organized by the Vietnam Boxing Federation (Vietnam Sports Department - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province.
The Organizing Committee awarded the entire group.
At the end of the tournament, the overall ranking of the delegations was: the Army delegation ranked first with 11 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 3 bronze medals; the Hanoi women's delegation ranked second with 8 gold medals, 09 silver medals and 02 bronze medals; the Ho Chi Minh City delegation ranked third with 5 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. The Organizing Committee awarded 54 sets of gold, silver and bronze medals and certificates to the athletes who achieved first, second and third place in each weight category; and awarded the first, second and third place flags to the entire delegation of men and women in each age group.
The Organizing Committee awarded medals in the 67 kg weight class for men, age 17-18.
In this tournament, Dak Lak delegation ranked 10th overall with 01 gold medal (Ngo Minh Thong, 67kg weight class, age group 17-18); 03 silver medals and 04 bronze medals.
Mr. Vu Xuan Thanh, Deputy Head of the High Performance Sports Department - Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department, Vice President in charge of professional affairs of the Vietnam Boxing Federation, said that the National Boxing Championship for Strong Teams is one of the prestigious and quality tournaments in the national competition system. The tournament aims to help athletes demonstrate their talents, help the coaching staff select and accurately assess the level of athletes through competition. This is also one of the tournaments that gathers the majority of athletes of the national team. Therefore, the tournament is a good opportunity for coaches to screen, test the training level, and prepare athletes to participate in the SEA Games and the congresses in the following years.

The 2025 National Boxing Championship for Strong Teams took place from April 12 to 16, bringing together 441 athletes from 48 clubs in 39 provinces, cities and sectors across the country. Athletes competed in 54 weight categories, divided into two age groups of 17-18 and 19-40. The tournament aimed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and promote the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
