On the morning of December 15, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, together with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee, on behalf of the provincial leaders, periodically received citizens in December 2023. In the previous regular citizen reception session, the Provincial Party Secretary directed the relevant agencies to focus on resolving the cases that had been directed. However, up to now, there are still 4 cases that have not been resolved.
From November 13 to December 13, 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee received, classified and processed 10 petitions, including: 1 petition transferred by the Central Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; 1 petition from the Provincial Party Committee's Office; 1 petition sent to the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity; 7 petitions sent to the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
The representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee reported the results of monitoring and handling assigned cases at regular citizen reception sessions last month.
The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has reviewed and reported 1 petition, continued to review 1 petition, the remaining petitions are kept for monitoring according to regulations because of duplication or have been transferred to competent authorities for settlement.
The Standing Committee and committees of the Provincial People's Council received and processed 7 petitions from organizations and citizens.
In addition, at the 17th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council promptly compiled opinions and recommendations of voters in the province and sent them to the Provincial People's Committee to respond immediately at the session...
The delegates also listened to the results of monitoring and urging the assigned cases at the regular citizen reception sessions of the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee. Accordingly, there were 3 cases that had been reported and responded to by citizens and 5 cases that had not yet reached the reporting deadline and were being continued to be monitored and summarized.
Leaders of Thach Ha district explained to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuan's household (Thach Dai commune) about compensation and site clearance from the Ham Nghi extended road project.
Regarding regular citizen reception, from November 10 to December 10, the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee received 2 cases; for regular citizen reception, it received 127 visits/13 cases; received and processed 98 petitions, advised the Provincial People's Committee on documents to assign and transfer petitions to competent agencies to resolve 54 cases, the remaining 44 petitions did not meet the conditions for processing, creating records for archiving and monitoring.
Relevant departments, branches and localities also reported the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions, progress and roadmap for resolving cases according to their authority.
At the regular citizen reception session in December, a number of households reflected and made recommendations related to issues of site clearance and issuance of land use right certificates. The chair of the session assigned localities, departments and branches to receive, consider and resolve, and respond to citizens according to their authority.
