Prosecution of female boss of a trillion-dollar corporation in Ho Chi Minh City

In a notice sent to the Securities Commission on the morning of March 1, Tracodi Construction Group Joint Stock Company said that Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Tuyen - Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the enterprise, has been prosecuted.

Specifically, Tracodi Construction Group Joint Stock Company said it had been notified by the competent authority about the decision to prosecute Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Tuyen.

Ms. Tuyen is the vice chairwoman of Tracodi's board of directors. However, the company's representative affirmed that all business activities are still going on normally.

Tracodi is a construction company headquartered in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. By the end of 2024, the company will have 300 employees and a charter capital of nearly VND 3,400 billion.

Regarding business performance, Tracodi recorded net revenue of VND1,160 billion, down 35% compared to the previous year; and profit after tax of VND111 billion, down 36%.

The company's management said that the decrease in net revenue compared to the same period was due to the overall adjustment of construction progress by project investors to cope with difficulties in the capital market.

To adapt, Tracodi must adjust construction items to extend construction time according to the investor's request.

According to Tracodi's annual report, Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Tuyen is holding management positions at many other enterprises, including Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of BCG Land - a member enterprise of Bamboo Capital Group.

On the same morning, Bamboo Capital also announced that it had been notified by the competent authority of the decision to prosecute the case and the decision to prosecute Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam - former Chairman of the Board of Directors of this enterprise.
