As Dan Tri reported earlier, on October 18, social media was abuzz with a clip recording the scene of a car driver hitting two young men on a motorbike stealing dogs when they stopped their car to hide the evidence.
The incident occurred at around 6:50 a.m. the same day, in front of a resident's house in Tan Thoi Nhat ward, district 12 (HCMC).
According to the clip, a young man wearing a striped shirt was riding an Exciter motorbike carrying another young man sitting behind him holding a dog. When the two of them reached the front door of a resident's house in Tan Thoi Nhat ward, they stopped the motorbike.

The young man sitting behind carried the dog and put it in a large bag in front of the car. At this time, discovering the two young men suspected of stealing the dog, a car driver from behind rushed up and hit the back of the motorbike, causing both of them to fall onto the road.
The young man in the striped shirt parked his motorbike to escape, but was chased and approached by the driver, forcing him and his accomplices to abandon their motorbikes to escape. The entire incident was recorded by a security camera.
Upon receiving the news, District 12 Police quickly coordinated with relevant units to extract security cameras for investigation. By October 19, the police had arrested Quang and Tien.
At the police station, both confessed to all their crimes. They had previously committed many other dog thefts together.
