Khanh Hoa: Successfully implementing economic development tasks

On December 5, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a conference to review local defense and military work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference.

It is known that in 2024, with the direct leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Military Region 5 Command, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee thoroughly grasped and well implemented local defense and military tasks, achieving comprehensive results.

In particular, it has thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions and conclusions of the Politburo, the Government's decrees, and the Ministry of National Defense's circulars on building a solid defense zone in the new situation, and effectively implemented propaganda and education work to raise awareness among cadres, party members, and people about building an all-people national defense and an all-people national defense posture associated with a people's security posture.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee emphasized that localities and units need to coordinate well to perform key tasks: Grasp the situation, make accurate assessments and assessments, promptly handle situations, avoid being passive and surprised, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety in the locality; strictly maintain combat readiness at all levels; successfully complete the task of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, ensuring 100% of the targets and improving quality; effectively carry out mass mobilization work, military rear policy work; proactively prevent and fight floods and storms, search and rescue, prevent and fight fires, forest fires, epidemics, etc., contributing to the successful implementation of the task of socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense and security.

On this occasion, Military Region 5 awarded the Emulation Flag to 1 collective, the title "Victorious Unit" to 12 collectives, the title "Grassroots-level Emulation Fighter" to 16 individuals, and the title "Advanced Fighter" to 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024 emulation movement.
