Audience in wheelchairs from Thai Binh to Hanoi to watch Tung Duong's performance

(Dan Tri) - During Tung Duong's live concert "Singing Man", there was an audience member who traveled by wheelchair from Thai Binh to the capital to watch the music night.

On the evening of November 23, the live concert (live music event) The Singing Man by singer Tung Duong took place at the National Convention Center, Hanoi with the attendance of 4,000 spectators.

Unlike the male singer's previous concerts, the line of people lining up to watch the show was not only adults and middle-aged audiences, but also many young faces, including students, who came to cheer for Tung Duong.

Present at the event quite early, audience member Pham Thi Ngát (38 years old) from Thai Binh sat in a wheelchair and was taken to Tung Duong's music night by a friend.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, the female audience member said that she has loved Tung Duong's voice for a long time, and she buys tickets to almost all of the male singer's concerts.

"To get tickets to listen to music, I traveled many times from Thai Binh to Hanoi to "hunt for tickets". There were music shows where Tung Duong was only a guest, but I still had to buy tickets. To watch this music night, I traveled from Thai Binh to Hanoi on the afternoon of November 23 and asked a friend to take me to the National Convention Center," Ms. Ngát shared.

Ms. Pham Thi Ngát added that once Tung Duong came to Thai Binh to perform and visited her at home. Tung Duong's concern made her very touched and she loved the male singer even more.

These are all songs expressing love for his homeland and country and have been with Tung Duong since his early days of singing, but they have been newly harmonized and arranged, combined with a grand and elaborate stage production.

Transforming familiar songs into new arrangements is probably Tung Duong's way of pleasing his loyal audience of decades while still showing his creativity and innovation in his musical personality.

During the music night on November 23, many people were surprised to hear the Jazz element in the song Oh My Hometown , completely different from the time he sang at Sao Mai Diem Hen.

The male singer said he chose songs about his homeland and country to open the live show celebrating 22 years of his career because that is the genre that best suits him and also shows his ultimate love.

Continuing the flow of emotions about homeland and country, Tung Duong brings the songs Nostalgia for winter and Snowy road .

Every time he sings these songs, Tung Duong remembers the first time he performed on stage at the age of 12 when he went to Russia to visit his parents.

At that time, his voice had not yet broken, he sang "Nostalgia for Winter" by musician Phu Quang clearly, completely different from the inner strength he has now.

Nearly 30 years have passed, but he still cannot forget the story of both laughter and tears of children living far away from home and understands that anyone who has to live far away from home always longs for their homeland, their mother, and their father.

The male singer devoted part of the concert night to honor his family and parents.

The atmosphere of the program became quieter when Tung Duong performed the song Foreign Country by Phan Manh Quynh with his voice like the whispering conversation of a child in a foreign land with his mother in his homeland.

After that, the male singer continued to sing with the song "My Mother" by musician Tran Tien and "Father's Lie" written by Dong Thien Duc.

In the second part, Tung Duong focuses on expressing the passionate and intense levels of love but without being "possessed" as usual with: Pregnancy (Sa Huynh), After the refusal (Phan Manh Quynh), Rebirth (Tang Duy Tan)...

Among the songs Tung Duong performed in this section, Rebirth is the most notable.

The song was written by Tang Duy Tan specifically for Tung Duong, inspired by the love story of the male singer and his wife Giang Pham, expressing the rebirth in love of a man when he meets the woman of his life.

During the show, Tang Duy Tan and Tung Duong created a surprise by bringing a symphony orchestra into the arrangement of Upstairs, completely different from the EDM version familiar to the audience.

Tang Duy Tan said this is a special live show that he has been waiting for for 10 years. Tang Duy Tan and Tung Duong are cousins and nephews of musician Tran Hoan.

10 years ago, when he watched Tung Duong's live show at the Opera House, he dreamed of one day standing on stage with the male singer.

"I used to dream of singing in harmony or joining an orchestra, but I never dared to dream of singing with Tung Duong like today," Tang Duy Tan confided.

Also on stage, Trung Quan Idol sang in harmony with Tung Duong the songs Ngay chua gio bao (Bui Lan Huong) and Trot yeu (Ai Phuong).

Famous for his ability to hit high notes, Trung Quan still feels sometimes overshadowed when singing duets with Tung Duong.

The male singer joked: "When I accepted the invitation to sing with Tung Duong, I felt a lot of pressure. To the point that before the show, I lost 8kg.

In 16 years of singing, I was always confident about my "loud mouth", but when I sang with Tung Duong, I was no longer confident, I think I had to ask him for a private course.

Even though we had agreed to sing softly, I even asked the sound department to lower Mr. Duong's mic, but I still felt... overshadowed.

During the music night, Trung Quan also performed the solo song "Passing Through Memories" .

Soobin Hoang Son is the most anticipated guest of the show, the male singer harmonized with Tung Duong in the songs Gia nhu and Chiec khan Pieu .

In the song Chiec Khan Pieu , the two singers made the 4,000 audience members scream with excitement because of the special combination that many people were waiting for.

Soobin Hoang Son said he felt honored to be invited to attend his senior's live show. Soobin has been following and admiring Tung Duong since he was young, and he was quite surprised when Tung Duong suggested trying an R&B song that was not his forte.

During the show, Soobin also taught Tung Duong some dance moves and encouraged his senior to participate in Anh trai vu ngan cong gai next season because he believed the male singer would do something special.

After the live concert in Hanoi, Tung Duong's crew will have another performance on December 1 at Trung Vuong Theater, Da Nang City with guest singers Thanh Lam, Trung Quan idol and Sao Mai Champion 2022 - Le Minh Ngoc.
