ANTD.VN - The General Department of Taxation has just issued a decision to impose administrative penalties on tax violations against Khai Hoan Land Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: KHG) with a total amount of more than 2.2 billion VND.
The General Department of Taxation's penalty decision stated that Khai Hoan Land committed an administrative violation of false declaration leading to a shortage of tax payable.
Accordingly, the General Department of Taxation decided to fine this enterprise more than 351 million VND; at the same time, forced the company to pay the full amount of the deficit to the budget of 1.76 billion VND (of which, 1.25 billion VND is corporate income tax and 503 million VND is value added tax).

In addition, Khai Hoan Land was also required to pay more than 110 million VND in late tax payments. The amount of late payment is calculated as of 24/20; Khai Hoan Land must be responsible for calculating and paying the full amount of late payment from this time until the actual payment to the State budget until the time of payment of the arrears and fines to the budget.
Thus, the total amount of tax that Khai Hoan Land has been subject to up to this point is more than 2.2 billion VND.
Regarding business performance, according to the consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2023, Khai Hoan Land achieved consolidated net revenue of only 77 billion VND, down 74% over the same period last year.
The main reason is that real estate brokerage revenue dropped by 91%, reaching only 19 billion VND.
The company's gross profit in the period only reached 11 billion VND, also down 88% compared to the same period last year.
Accumulated in 9 months, Khai Hoan Land's net revenue reached 299 billion VND, down 61% compared to the same period last year. Profit after tax reached 12 billion VND, down 77% compared to the same period.
