The hotel is still "leisurely"
Despite receiving more than 120 flights arriving each day during the holiday, Da Nang has not yet recorded a "full" room shortage. In fact, many hotels have even reduced room rates compared to normal days to attract guests and increase occupancy rates.
According to records, except for 4-5 star accommodations with room occupancy rates of 80-95%, almost every place still has quite a few vacant rooms.
Meanwhile, smaller hotels have room occupancy rates that fluctuate just over 50%, so some places accept selling rooms by the hour.
Even the most prime beach hotels, which are usually fully booked during the holidays, are still… waiting for guests at this time.

Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huong, manager of a 3-star hotel in the "Western Quarter" An Thuong, said this was expected.
According to Ms. Huong, luxury hotels usually welcome a certain percentage of group guests and rarely rely on individual guests. However, this holiday season, the number of group guests is quite low.
"We predicted it before the holiday, but we didn't expect that this year the number of guests would only be slightly higher than usual. Based on individual guests, the room occupancy rate is quite uncertain," said Ms. Huong.
In the first 2 days, the hotel with more than 50 rooms where Ms. Huong worked only reached a rate of over 60%.

With a large number of hotels and room supply capacity like in Da Nang, it is obvious that hotels compete to attract guests. Even during this holiday season, many hotels still implement long-term discount programs.
In areas with many tourists, many hotels also continuously announce that they have rooms available.

Meanwhile, at satellite destinations, newly emerging campsites in Da Nang, the number of tourists is crowded.
At destinations in Hoa Bac commune (Hoa Vang district) during this holiday, many people come to find the peaceful countryside atmosphere.
At all times of the day, there are constantly people and cars lining up to enter farmstays, homestays... Guests are mainly young people and family groups.
Mr. Trung Tin, owner of the Cu De riverside campsite in Hoa Bac commune, said that in recent years this area has been a destination chosen by Da Nang residents for their holidays.
According to Mr. Tin, with personal cars becoming more popular, people tend to organize their own trips and choose places to rest and relax close to nature.

Mr. Tin said that a week before the holiday, guests had booked all the tents at his entertainment venue. To increase capacity, he accepted guests to bring their own tents.
"Family guests love to go to camping spots. Many families tend to let their children bathe in streams, camp, and immerse themselves in nature," said Mr. Tin.
Similarly, camping sites along streams in Hoa Phu commune (Hoa Vang district) are also the choice of many tourists, including many tourists from neighboring provinces.
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, a pre-holiday survey showed that tourists tend to choose nearby domestic and foreign destinations. In particular, 3-5 day foreign tours are very popular.

Meanwhile, Hai Van Pass is also crowded with visitors. With the opening of Hai Van Quan to the public for free, the Hai Van Pass has been bustling with traffic in recent days. At many times of the day, the top of the pass is jammed with traffic because of the large number of visitors.
The "check-in" coffee spots along the pass have also been full of customers in recent days.
