Tho Xuan District Party Committee meets with key Youth Union officials

On the afternoon of March 25, the Standing Committee of Tho Xuan District Party Committee held a meeting with key Youth Union officials on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the 93-year tradition of the heroic and proud history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. In July 1941, the Tho Xuan National Salvation Youth Association, the predecessor of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tho Xuan district, was established in Phong Coc village, Thu Coc commune, now Xuan Minh commune, Tho Xuan district.

Over the past 83 years of formation and development, generations of Tho Xuan youth have always excellently fulfilled their assigned tasks. In particular, from 2022 to present, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district have always promoted propaganda, political education, ideology, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for young people, which have been carried out regularly, continuously, and effectively. Revolutionary action movements and programs to accompany young people have been widely and comprehensively deployed. The whole district has undertaken 325 youth projects and 655 youth tasks to build new rural areas with the participation of nearly 100,000 youth union members. Promote activities to accompany young people in starting and establishing businesses. Volunteer activities for community life attract a large number of cadres and young union members to participate; The work of building the Youth Union, expanding the solidarity front, gathering young people, participating in Party building and protecting the government has been focused on and achieved good results.
