Krong Pac District: Continue to promote the role of dignitaries and officials in building the great national unity bloc

On the morning of August 18, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Pac district held a meeting with religious dignitaries and officials in 2023.

Attending the conference were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission H'Kim Hoa Byă; Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Krong Pac District Tran Hong Tien; leaders of the district's agencies and departments and more than 140 dignitaries and religious officials inside and outside the locality.

Representatives of religious organizations shared experiences and good practices in mobilizing followers to join hands in patriotic emulation movements and socio-economic development.

Krong Pac district currently has 4 religions with a large number of followers: Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Cao Dai with more than 61,000 followers, accounting for about 30% of the district's population. Religions have promoted the spirit of patriotism, solidarity and companionship with the nation; organized many religious activities, fostered doctrine and canon law; carried out the registration of activities, renovation, repair and construction of new facilities in accordance with legal regulations.

Religious dignitaries and officials always set an example in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; actively mobilizing followers to respond to and effectively participate in patriotic emulation movements and socio-economic development programs; and fulfilling well the roles, obligations and responsibilities of citizens. Thereby, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and successfully implementing local socio-economic development goals and tasks. Many religious dignitaries, officials and followers are exemplary in implementing patriotic emulation movements and ensuring social security.

At the conference, delegates were informed about the socio-economic development situation of Krong Pac district in the first 6 months of 2023. Representatives of dignitaries and officials of 4 religions expressed their excitement and confidence in the leadership of Party committees and authorities; shared good practices in mobilizing followers to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws, focusing on economic development, preserving and promoting national cultural values... The dignitaries and officials also requested the Party committee and authorities of Krong Pac district to continue to pay attention to creating conditions for religious establishments to repair and build worship facilities, activity spots...

Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Krong Pac District Tran Hong Tien acknowledged and commended the contributions of religious dignitaries, officials and followers in the area. At the same time, he requested that religious dignitaries, officials and religious organizations continue to unite, stick together and accompany the nation; closely cooperate with the authorities and fronts at all levels to consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc; actively respond to emulation movements to build new rural areas, reduce poverty sustainably, build cultural villages and hamlets. Religious organizations also need to raise their vigilance, fight against plots and tricks to take advantage of democracy, human rights, ethnicity and religion to carry out acts of sabotage against the Party and the State, promptly prevent illegal proselytizing activities, heretical religions, strange religions...

On this occasion, the Ministry of Home Affairs awarded the Medal "For the cause of state management of beliefs and religions" to 11 individuals of Dak Lak province, including Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Krong Pac district Tran Hong Tien.

The District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Pac district awarded Certificates of Merit and symbols to religious organizations with many contributions to emulation movements and building great solidarity.

On this occasion, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Pac district awarded Certificates of Merit and symbols to 11 religious organizations and 12 outstanding dignitaries and officials in participating in patriotic emulation movements, charity work, social security, and contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.
