Hong Linh Town competes to complete 17 socio-economic development targets in 2024

Launching the emulation movement in 2024, the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Hong Linh Town (Ha Tinh) are determined to unite, innovate, and exceed the set targets and tasks.

On the morning of January 12, the People's Committee of Hong Linh town held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward movement in 2023, deploy tasks in 2024 and launch the emulation movement.

In 2023, Hong Linh Town will focus on socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, and ensuring prevention work. With the spirit of patriotic emulation, solidarity, and efforts to overcome all difficulties, the town has excellently completed the assigned political tasks.

In the fields of socio-economics, national defense and security, 17/21 targets assigned by the Town People's Council have been completed, of which 8 targets were exceeded.

The emulation movements of the town have been recognized and highly appreciated by the province, trusted and supported by the people; cultural and social life and social welfare are guaranteed, people's lives are increasingly improved, national defense and security are maintained; 100% of the government apparatus and mass organizations have excellently and well fulfilled their tasks.

In order to maximize all potentials and resources for the sustainable development of the town, improve the spiritual and material life quality of the people, and successfully carry out political tasks, Hong Linh Town is determined to effectively implement emulation movements in all fields.

In particular, the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front Committee and unions of Hong Linh Town have well organized emulation campaigns to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the province and the country; promoted the peak emulation movement to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Continue to effectively and creatively implement emulation movements, strive to successfully complete 17 socio-economic development targets in the spirit of Resolution No. 66/NQ-HDND dated December 20, 2023 of the Town People's Council. In particular, the key task is to maintain high economic growth associated with sustainable development, ensuring social security, national defense and security. Focus on promoting the implementation of state budget collection tasks in the area; strengthen land management, construction order associated with improving environmental quality; perform well the site clearance work, speed up the construction progress of key works and projects and disburse capital for basic construction.

Mobilize investment resources to develop a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure system; continue to promote the potential and strengths of the locality, and effectively implement the province's specific mechanisms and policies for the town's development.

Chairman of Hong Linh Town People's Committee Nguyen Huy Hung: Propose that all levels, sectors and localities promote the emulation movement to overcome difficulties, strive to achieve and exceed planned targets in all areas; continue to innovate and improve the quality of commendation work, properly evaluate achievements, according to standards, ensure democracy, publicity and transparency.

To achieve the targets, Hong Linh Town also sets out many tasks and solutions such as: Emulating to promote administrative reform to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of direction, administration and operations of People's Committees at all levels. Implementing good coordination between Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and mass organizations to promote the role of gathering and building the great national unity bloc in organizing and implementing patriotic emulation movements to carry out the political tasks of the town.

Promote initiatives, creativity, rectify working style and manners; at the same time, well perform the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres, party members, and heads of agencies and units associated with promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style".

Secretary of the Town Party Committee Le Thanh Dong, Chairman of the Town People's Committee Nguyen Huy Hung and Chairman of the Hong Linh Town Fatherland Front Committee Dang Ngoc Son signed the emulation agreement for 2024.

At the conference, the leaders of Hong Linh town awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the Women's Union of Hong Linh town.

In 2023, the town's economy will maintain good growth, with total social investment capital of VND 1,721.4 billion; budget revenue is estimated at VND 301,011 billion, up 56.37% compared to the plan, up 10.13% over the same period; attracting 2 investment projects with a total registered capital of more than VND 680 billion and 2 projects signed investment commitments at the Provincial Planning Announcement Conference.
