On April 12, the Lac Thuy District Lawyers Association, Hoa Binh province, held its 4th Congress for the 2024-2029 term, with the spirit of "Solidarity, democracy, innovation and development" to promote collective intelligence and enhance the position and role of judicial agencies.
Attending and directing the Congress were Lawyer Quach Dinh Minh - Permanent Vice President of Hoa Binh Provincial Lawyers Association, Mr. Pham Van Duc - Permanent Deputy Secretary of Lac Thuy District Party Committee.
The Congress for the 2024-2029 term is an opportunity for the Lac Thuy District Bar Association to raise awareness among members, officials and civil servants of judicial agencies; further affirming the position and role of the District Bar Association in participating in the implementation of the Constitution and laws of the State and Lac Thuy District.
In the 2017-2024 term, Lac Thuy District Lawyers Association has performed well its functions and tasks according to the Association's program and action plan. The Association's members have continuously developed. Up to now, the District Association has had 41 members operating in 3 association groups.

During the past term, the Association has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Association, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District People's Committee, and the coordination of internal affairs agencies, special Associations and communes and towns; this is a great source of encouragement to help the District Association achieve results and complete the tasks of the 2017-2024 term.
Thereby, members have actively propagated, disseminated, and educated the law; provided legal aid to raise awareness of law observance of officials and people in the area.
Participate in drafting laws and legal documents, supervise law enforcement, make recommendations to State agencies on law making and law enforcement. Pay attention to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens and members.
This congress reviews the results that the Association has achieved in the past term, frankly points out the shortcomings and weaknesses to determine the causes, find directions and specific solutions to overcome them. At the same time, it determines the direction, political tasks and action program for the coming term.
This Congress will select and introduce prestigious and capable lawyers to be elected to the Executive Committee of the Association for the 4th term, 2024-2029, to lead and organize the successful implementation of the Resolution and action program of the Congress.
The Congress elected 7 lawyers to the District Association Executive Committee. The Executive Committee elected Lawyer Vu Hai Duong - Chief Justice of Lac Thuy District People's Court as Chairman of the Association for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Term IV, 2024-2029, Lac Thuy District Bar Association, Hoa Binh Province, closely follows the functions and tasks of the Association to properly perform the rights and obligations of members according to the Association's Charter. Review, promulgate and perfect the regulations; Perfect the Association's organization;
Strengthen membership development, implement and complete professional tasks of the agency or unit in conjunction with the tasks of the Association.
Actively participate in legal consultancy and legal aid activities for the government and the people, in order to serve political tasks and socio-economic development in the locality; especially actively participate in complicated, difficult and entangled legal cases in the locality.

Promote the role of the Lawyers Association as a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district, expand and strengthen working relationships with socio-political organizations, socio-professional organizations, specific associations, communes and towns in legal activities; especially in implementing the policy of socializing the work of disseminating, educating the law and providing legal aid in the area.
Continue to effectively implement the contents of participating in law-making, supervising law implementation; promote the dissemination and education of law, legal advice and legal aid for the people .
