Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for Mass Mobilization Vu Ha said that, implementing the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh and the Party's guiding views on mass mobilization work, in recent years, the Hanoi Party Committee and Party committees at all levels have strengthened leadership and direction, constantly innovated, improved the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work in general and the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in particular.
Since then, "Skillful Mass Mobilization" has become a widespread emulation movement, attracting the participation and response of a large number of cadres, party members, union members, association members and all classes of Hanoi people, becoming a unique feature in the mass mobilization work of the Capital Party Committee.
In recent years, on average, each year, the whole city has about 10,000 models, typically "Skilled Mass Mobilization" at all levels registered for implementation. The emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" has really penetrated deeply, spread, and been deployed closely with campaigns, patriotic emulation movements, and implementing democracy at the grassroots level...
Notably, hundreds of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models have been effective in the fields of economic development, socio-culture, national defense and security, and political system building, and have been commended, rewarded, and replicated by all levels and sectors.
In particular, at times of implementing new, difficult and complicated tasks, the emulation movement "Skillful Mass Mobilization" has proven to be clearly effective in mobilizing, creating consensus and support from all classes of people. Gathering and promoting the strength of great national unity, joining hands to successfully carry out the political tasks of the locality, unit and city.
After 6 months of launching, going through hundreds of preliminary and final competitions from the grassroots level, there were 35 best teams, representing localities and units selected to participate in the preliminary round of the "Skillful Civil Mobilization" Competition at the city level in 2024.
According to the Plan, in August 2024, the Organizing Committee of the Contest will organize the preliminary round of the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" Contest at the city level in 6 clusters.
Through the preliminary round at 6 competition clusters, the Organizing Committee will select the best teams to compete in the Final Round of the Competition, held on the morning of September 21, 2024 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace.
The Final Award Ceremony of the Hanoi City "Skilled Mass Mobilization" Contest 2024 was held the same morning and was broadcast live on Channel 1 - Hanoi Radio and Television Station.
For Competition Cluster No. 2, after 6 months of implementation, the districts in Competition Cluster No. 2 have selected 5 excellent and most typical teams to participate in the preliminary round of the City-level Competition. The teams will go through 3 rounds: introduction; knowledge of mass mobilization work; skills and expertise in mass mobilization work.
At the end of the preliminary round of the 2024 Hanoi City "Skilled Mass Mobilization" Contest, Cluster 2, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Dong Anh District team; Second Prize to the Gia Lam and Thanh Tri District teams; Third Prize to the Me Linh and Soc Son District teams.
