Kim Bang District Youth Union launched the project "Digitizing the historical relic of Ba Danh Pagoda

On the morning of August 15, Kim Bang District Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the project "Digitizing the historical relic of Ba Danh Pagoda - Ngoc Mountain" in Danh village, Ngoc Son commune. Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, District Party Committee, Kim Bang District People's Committee, representatives of the district's sectors and organizations, and a large number of youth union members in the area attended the program.

In order to promote information and images of the historical relic of Ba Danh Pagoda - Ngoc Mountain, Kim Bang District Youth Union cooperated with LDT Solution Research and Development Joint Stock Company to carry out the project "Digitizing the historical relic of Ba Danh Pagoda - Ngoc Mountain". The project uses QR-code scanning or access the website: http://chuabadanh.cargis.vn to watch videos, 360-degree images and listen to the introduction.

When accessing the site, visitors will feel like they are experiencing reality, easily finding information and looking up directions based on the navigation feature. The project was completed after nearly 1 month of urgent implementation; the content and information used to introduce the relic were strictly assessed by competent authorities.

This is a meaningful activity demonstrating the pioneering and creative role of young people in applying information technology and digital transformation in all fields, contributing to the effective implementation of the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on digital transformation of Kim Bang district by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Ba Danh Pagoda has the Chinese name Bao Son Tu. The pagoda has an area of 10 hectares located in the southeast of Ngoc Son commune. Ba Danh Pagoda has a history of hundreds of years with a peaceful, quiet space and unique folk sculptures. Surrounding the pagoda is the poetic Day River. To the south is the entrance to the three-door gate with a long three-step staircase with two rows of lotus-shaped pillars. To the north is Ngoc mountain with many green trees, lush branches and leaves, on the top is a hundred-year-old banyan tree with countless roots hanging down clinging to the cliff, very majestic.

In 1994, Ba Danh Pagoda was recognized as a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In recent years, with the attention of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee, Ba Danh Pagoda has been invested in, renovated and upgraded into an attractive spiritual tourist destination, attracting a large number of visitors from all over the country to worship, visit, sightsee and learn about the traditional cultural and historical beauty here.
