Cam Giang district has just simultaneously installed signs on 52 flower and tree-lined streets “bright, green, clean, beautiful” to complete the criteria for quality of living environment in building an advanced new rural district. This is the first district in the province to complete this criterion.

In addition to installing road signs, communes also plant additional trees and flowers such as hibiscus, bougainvillea, peonies, etc. Install additional lights, hang banners and national flags, peel and stick advertising signs, and collect household waste, etc.

Previously, Cam Giang district requested communes and towns to control and protect water quality; restore landscapes, and improve the ecosystems of surface water sources in ponds and lakes. Currently, the rate of clean water use meets standards, each locality has at least one model for treating pond and lake water by building embankments and not discharging domestic wastewater into ponds and lakes. Localities arrange stone benches and renovate the space around the lake into a place for entertainment. Some localities such as Quy Duong village, Phu Xa (Tan Truong), Phu Loc (Cam Vu), Tan An (Dinh Son), Van Thai (Cam Van) ... have been converted into swimming ponds for children.

Communes and towns promote planting flowers and trees along roads and in public places to create rural environmental landscapes in the district. Strive for 100% of villages, residential areas and 100% of households to classify solid waste at source in the first quarter of this year.
