Celebrating Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, at 9:00 p.m. on June 21, Ho Chi Minh City Television will broadcast the play Forever a Love (author: Hoang Duan - Ngoc Bich Duyen, director: Hoang Duan) on channel HTV9.
The play features performances by artist Hoang Trinh, actors Pham Yen, Minh Cuong, Kieu Ngan, Thanh Tung, Hong Trang, Cam Ho, Kim Tuyet...
The story revolves around the life and work of Quyen (played by Pham Yen), a young reporter who is passionate about her job, always hard-working and creative in her work. Although she is a woman, she is not afraid to get involved in reality to have good articles with a humane touch.
Meanwhile, Hoang (played by Minh Cuong), Quyen's lover, has a pragmatic outlook on life, thinking that journalism is dangerous, hard work, and doesn't pay much. Hoang repeatedly suggested that Quyen should imitate Lam, his younger brother, also a university classmate of Quyen, who is working as an advertiser for a football betting site to get rich quickly, but Quyen absolutely refused to listen.
One day, the football website Lam participated in crashed, losing the bettors' money, Lam was sued by many people. With this incident so famous, Quyen was assigned to write an article to clarify the truth.
Quyen met Lam and advised her to make an apology clip, then cooperate with the authorities to continue solving the remaining problems, but Lam did not listen. Hoang forced Quyen to quit her job because he defended his sister. Quyen was also attacked by some strangers after the article was published...
