Organizing the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and efficient

Following the direction of the Central and the City, the District Party Committee has directed the serious, synchronous implementation, in accordance with the procedures, regulations, and progress requirements on innovation, reorganization of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient.

According to Secretary of Ha Dong District Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Xuan, the District Party Committee Executive Committee and the District Party Committee Standing Committee have held 5 conferences and issued 12 documents directing the implementation of the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system in accordance with the direction of the Central and City Party Committees; ensuring the comprehensive leadership of Party committees and Party organizations in reorganizing the apparatus, not interrupting the operations of agencies and units, and not affecting the results of implementing the political tasks of the city and district.

The organization received 6 party organizations with 236 party members under the City People's Committee Party Committee to the District Party Committee. After the arrangement, the Ha Dong District Party Committee has 85 grassroots party organizations (41 party committees and 44 grassroots party cells) with 611 party cells under the grassroots party committee, with a total of over 23,000 party members.

Directing the review and reporting to the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the City Department of Home Affairs to consider and resolve the wishes of district officials requesting early retirement according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government.

Ha Dong District Party Committee organized a training conference on skills and methods to participate in the 5th Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2025 for nearly 250 key officials from the district to the grassroots level on April 1, 2025.

Regarding the implementation of preparations for the grassroots Party Congress towards the 22nd Ha Dong District Party Congress, term 2025-2030, by March 15, 2025, all 590/590 Party cells under the grassroots Party Committee had completed organizing the congress and reported the congress results on the congress progress monitoring software. The 22nd Ha Dong District Party Congress and the congresses of grassroots party organizations under the District Party Committee, term 2025-2030 were temporarily suspended according to the direction in Official Dispatch No. 1458-CV/TU, dated March 5, 2025 of the City Party Committee.

Regarding the direction of effective implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, up to now, the total retail sales of goods, trade, services and tourism revenue in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 43,874 billion 400 million VND, an increase of 14.34% over the same period last year, equal to 25.07% of the annual plan.

The state budget revenue and expenditure work has been directed and synchronously implemented with many appropriate collection solutions right from the beginning of the year; the total state budget revenue in the first 3 months of 2025 is estimated at VND 4,156 billion, reaching 65.3% of the yearly estimate, equal to 282.9% over the same period last year.

Urban management continues to receive attention and direction, achieving clear results in a number of aspects. In addition, the district also continues to strengthen land management, perfecting processes and procedures to serve the organization of land use rights auctions according to the land use rights auction plan in 2025. At the same time, it directs to continue to accelerate the progress of site clearance for projects in the district.

8 key tasks in April

Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Dong District Nguyen Van Truong said that in April 2025, the District Party Committee will continue to thoroughly grasp and implement new documents of the Central and City Party Committees; direct the organization of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); focus on implementing the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system according to the direction of the Central and the city; direct the implementation of shared software at 3 levels of the city.

The District Party Committee also strengthens land management, public investment, urban management, construction order and ensuring national security and social order and safety in the district; strengthens food hygiene and safety, disease prevention and control, especially diseases that are at risk of breaking out in early summer.

At the same time, focus on site clearance for projects in the area: Yen Nghia Pumping Station Project, Ring Road 4 Project, National Highway 6 Renovation and Upgrading Project; evaluate the implementation results of a number of key tasks in the field of culture - sports; management of cultural and historical relics, cultural houses, meeting houses, sports grounds and broadcasting systems in the district; implementation of a number of key tasks in the field of education and training; prepare to summarize the 2024-2025 school year; plan for the 2025-2026 school year; management and use of park land, trees, parking lots in the district...
