“No contribution is small when combined for a great cause. We appreciate the support of individuals and organizations across the country, domestic and foreign partners who have and will join MB in realizing the goal of planting 1 million trees in Truong Sa island district,” emphasized MB Chairman of the Board of Directors Luu Trung Thai.
One million trees planted in Truong Sa not only create a green color on the map of the Fatherland, but will have a comprehensive impact on the ecosystem on the island. The trees have the effect of fixing sand, preventing erosion, preventing sand blowing, encroachment, and protecting constructions and infrastructure on the island.
Above all, green carpets create habitats for many species of organisms, contributing to the restoration and development of the ecosystem, creating natural balance. Trees provide shade, reduce temperatures, facilitate agricultural production, and improve the quality of life of soldiers and people on the island.
